Once upon a time there was a polar bear who loved to relax on an ice shelf in the Arctic. One day while he was sleep the ice shelf broke off the main continent and began to float out to sea as an iceberg. By the time the poor polar bear awoke they had floated several miles and the shoreline was no longer in sight.

Oh my, thought the polar bear, what am I going to do?

He decided that eventually they would drift near land so he decided to relax, enjoy the ride and wait. But hours turned into days and days into weeks and he never saw land. He was getting hungrier, the water was getting warmer and the iceberg was beginning to shrink.

Every day that went by the iceberg got smaller and the polar bear began to worry. One day the iceberg had shrunk to the size of a bar of soap and he had to balance on one foot just to stay afloat. Just as he was about to give up all hope, a large ship appeared on the horizon and began to make its way toward him. So he got an idea.

Just as the ship approached his position, balancing precariously on his tiny iceberg he pointed to the sky and at the top of his lungs yelled, "Radar!"
